Popular Nigerian singer, Teniola Apata, better known as Teni, has gifted one of her former teachers in Apata Memorial High School, Ikeja, Lagos State, a Lexus car in commemoration of the 2022 Teachers Day.
OsunDaily News reports that one of the teachers in the school owned by the singer’s late father made this known via Facebook on Wednesday.
According to the teacher, Mr Ofudje taught Teni back in the day, and the singer came back to thank him for his impact by gifting him a car.
Sharing the pictures and video of the car presentation by Teni, the teacher wrote: “And Teni surprised one of our teachers today with a lexus car.
“Mr Ofudje taught Teni, he was her best teacher back then and she came back to appreciate him.
”Hard working we celebrate you sir. Congratulations Mr Ofudje, well deserved.”

Teni, recently declared herself single, days after sharing wedding photos and videos.
Recall, the singer took to her Instagram page to share an adorable video of herself stunning in a beautiful wedding dress and other photos flaunting her rings.
She wrote, “Can’t keep this no more,” with a bride emoji.”
The videos drew reactions from her fans who wondered whether the singer is indeed getting married, or promoting her new single titled, ‘Little’.
However, the singer who seems to have donned the wedding gown for a video shoot took to the microblogging platform on Tuesday night to declare her status.
