The Presidencyย on Monday met with Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State and the President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote.

OsunDaily News gathered that Bello and Dangote met at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to resolve the recent ownership tussle for the Dangote cement factory in Obajana, Kogi state.

The meeting which started around 4pm, had the Chief of Staff to the President, Ibrahim Gambari, and Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State in attendance.

Recall that the Kogi State Government had set up a panel to investigate the acquisition of the Obajana cement plant following agitations by indigenes that the sale was illegal.

However, the panel in its report saidย the purported transfer of the facility to Dangote Cement was not โ€œproperโ€.

The Kogi House of Assembly ordered the sealing of the factory which was met with stiff resistance by the Dangote group.

However, during an attempt to seal the factory on October 5, a shooting incident reportedly occurred. The plant was eventually sealed off and a number of persons were injured during the shooting.

Freed Abuja-Kaduna Train Victim Speaks On Taking Vengeance On Her Abductors

One of the victims of the deadly Abuja-Kaduna train attack on March 28, 2022, Lois Arzurfa, on Monday, said that she has forgiven her abductors and would not ask God for vengeance.

OsunDaily News reports that the 21-year-old girl was one of the 65 passengers that were abducted at gunpoint onboard the AK-9 passenger train months ago.

Reports had emerged earlier that a terrorist commander threatened to marry the young female hostage. Arzurfa who was among the remaining 23 passengers that were freed last Wednesday, told newsmen from her hospital bed that their freedom came as a surprise to her.

The 100-level student of the Kaduna State University told reporters that she has put behind her all the suffering they went through in the 191 days spent in their terroristโ€™s den.
