Rumour claimed he pulled out of the national team game because he was not allowed to play his preferred role for his country.
In a video posted on social media, the Super Eagles’ head coach clarified the situation and stated that the Leicester player was dealing with a hamstring problem.
Back to his club game, every Leicester player who participated in the game received a rating, which the Nigerian international did excellently well for his club.
Leicester earned their first Premier League victory of the 2022/2023 English Premier League campaign thanks to goals from Patson Daka, Harvey Barnes, and a brace from James Maddison.
Before being replaced by Boubakary Soumare before the start of the second half, Ndidi made his eighth appearance for the Foxes and played brilliantly.
One of nine Leicester players that received a rating of seven out of nine was the Super Eagles standout.
