The Zamfara State Command of THE Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC has deployed officers and men of the Corps to all nooks and crannies of the State to secure lives and properties during the yuletide.
In a statement issued by the Corpsโ spokesman, Ikor Oche, the Commandant, Sani Mustapha, who gave a charge during the deployment, urged the officers and men to display professionalism and discipline while carrying out their lawful duties.
Mustapha assured the public of the Corpsโ resolve to collaborate with other sister agencies to ensure a hitch-free Christmas and New Year celebration,
He said the Corps will not compromise any security standard but ensure it does its best to secure all law-abiding citizens.
He strongly warned all the personnel involved in this special assignment to do it with due diligence and commitment to duty, pointing out that no act of indolence and malingering would be tolerated.
The State Commandant appealed to the general public to report any suspected movement and act which may be inimical to the peace of the state.
The NSCDC boss also wished the Christian Faithfuls a happy Christmas celebration in advance and a prosperous new year ahead.
