House of Representatives member, Alhassan Doguwa, has slammed the former Governor of Kano State, Rabiu Kwankwaso, for criticizing the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
OsunDailyNG reported that Kwankwaso, while speaking at a political gathering in Kano state, said Nigerians, especially Northerners, are tired of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and would change it in the 2027 election.
However, Doguwa, in a statement on Friday, dismissed Kwankwasoโs assertion that Nigerians will reject the APC in 2027, calling it a โmere hallucination.โ
The lawmaker stated that it is no secret that the Tinubu-led government is working hard to transform Nigeria for everyoneโs progress and prosperity.
He further criticized the NNPP for its โnon-performanceโ in Kano, declaring that the APC is ready to reclaim the state in the next elections.
Doguwa also highlighted Tinubuโs achievements, including attracting over $30 billion in foreign direct investments, reducing the countryโs debt service ratio, and combating insecurity in the North West.
He said, โAt a political gathering on Thursday, my colleague Kwankwaso took his hallucination to the moon when he said Nigerians are tired of the APC and will change it in 2027.
โAs we all know, President Bola Tinubu is not leaving any stone unturned in his quest to return our country to the path of progress and prosperity for the benefit of all.โ
Praising Tinubuโs administration for restoring peace and rebuilding the northern region, Doguwa added, โA fresh air is already permeating the North West given the onslaught against these bandits. Our people are now returning to their farms.โ
