A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode, has slammed those who have alleged that the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu is gravely ill or dead.
Speaking via a series of Tweets, the former Aviation Minister insisted that the APC flag bearer is healthy and fit for the presidential battle.
He warned that those who were not wishing Tinubu well would be put to shame.
He wrote: “Those that say BAT is either ill or dead shall be put to shame. Not only is he alive and well but he is also fit and ready to lead us into battle. Those that rejoice in such evil reports shall fall into the pit they dug for Jagaban. To their evil thoughts we say: BACK TO SENDER!
“To all the BATmen and BATwomen out there: fear not the noisesome pestilence, vile words and evil thoughts of the ATIKUvibrators and OBIdients.
“Let them continue to insult us, misrepresent us and vent their spleen because their time is short and that is all they have. Whilst they are insulting, we are preparing.”
Speaking further he explained that while Tinubu enemies were coming up with stories to smear his public image his supporters on the other hand were working around the clock to bring home the presidency.
“Whilst they are scheming, we are working. Whilst they are howling, we are planning. Whilst they are barking, we are plotting. When we kick off our campaign water will find its level,” he added.
Meanwhile, the APC flag bearer has arrived in Nigeria on Thursday, consequently dispelling all rumors of death.
