The world leaders have congratulated re-elected President Donald Trump, as he coasts to victory over Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer; the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu; and the Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, among others, have promised to work with Trump for mutual benefit.
In his congratulatory letter, Keir Starmer wrote, โCongratulations President-elect trump on your historic election victory. I look forward to working with you in the years ahead.
โAs the closest of allies, we stand shoulder to shoulder in defence of our shared values of freedom, democracy and enterprise.
โFrom growth and security to innovate and tech, I know that the UK-US special relationship will continue to prosper on both sides of the Atlantic for years to come.โ
Israel President, Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in their separate messages promised to work with Trump to restore peace in the Middle East.

โI look forward to working with you to strengthen the ironclad bond between our peoples, to build a future of peace and security for the Middle East, and to uphold our shared values.

Franceโs President, Emmanuel Macron, in his message, said he was ready to work with Trump. โCongratulations, President Donald Trump. Ready to work together as we did for four years. With your convictions and mine. With respect and ambition. For more peace and prosperity,โ he wrote.
The Italy Prime Minister, Meloni wrote, โOn behalf of myself and the Italian Government, my most sincere congratulations to the President-elect of the United States, Donald Trump
โItaly and the United States are โsisterโ nations, linked by an unshakable alliance, common values, and a historic friendship.
โIt is a strategic bond, which I am sure we will now strengthen even further. Good work Mr. President.โ
On his part, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his message, said he wished Trumpโs presidency would help in strengthening the ties between the US and his country.
