The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Debo Ologunagba has insisted that the main opposition party is united ahead of the 2023 race.
According to Ologunagba, leaders in the party are united irrespective of their differences in opinion.
The PDP chieftain in a chat with Daily Independent described the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike as an important member of the party.
Ologunagba noted that the Rivers State Governor has done well for the main opposition party, adding that he had benefitted from the party also.
He further stated that the PDP has brought Governor Wike from obscurity to prominence.
Ologunagba affirmed that the Rivers State Governor will not dump the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
He said the party is having a conversation, adding that all issues will be resolved before PDP goes into the 2023 races.
The PDP chieftain stated that leaders in the party will take the concerns of Nigerians about their personal interests.
Ologunagba added, “We know that given the calibre of leaders that we have, we will take the concerns of Nigerians above our personal interests. We are all united to salvage the Nigerian people who have suffered so much under the rudderless, insensitive and inhumane government of the APC.”
