Niger Tornadoes head coach, Hamza Abarah has said the early goal conceded affected his team’s plan against Rangers.
The Ikon Allah Boys lost 2-1 to their hosts at the Awka City Stadium on Sunday.
Abarah however commended the players for an improved performance in the second half of the encounter.
“The early goal we conceded was demoralising,” he told Niger Tornadoes media.
“Though the players came back strong in the second half, my relationship with Fidelis showed in the game.
“We both know each other, that’s why the game was balanced in the second half.”
Niger Tornadoes dropped down to 17th position on the table following the defeat.
The Minna club will next face Bayelsa United.
