Nigerian comedian and content creator Chukwuemeka Emmanuel, popularly known as Sabinus, has shared his experience after surviving a motor accident months ago.
OsunDaily News recalls that Sabinus was involved in a ghastly road accident in September 2022. The development worried his fans as they expressed their concerns on social media after learning of the incident, which happened during his alleged secret wedding engagement.
Months after the incident, Sabinus has told Sunday Scoop during the weekend that the accident had taught him to be closer to God.
“The accident taught me to hold God close. Also, people should never drink and drive,” Sabinus said.
Recall that the collision was said to have been caused by a drunk driver.
Speaking about his content creation, the Port Harcourt-born comedian said he was happy about the impact his comedy skits had made in people’s lives.
Sabinus added, “Every day is a hassle; so I tend to make sure my videos put smiles on people’s faces. The world needs more laughter. The world needs to be happy despite everything that is going on.”
On what he has for the upcoming content creators, he said, “Ensure that you are consistent in whatever you do; irrespective of the low engagement and support you might be getting. Keep going, and you will definitely have your own audience. The sky is wide enough for every bird to fly.”
Sabinus acknowledged that it feels great to be sought after as a content creator. He said, “It feels ‘hooge’! I am grateful to God for how far He has brought me and how intentional He is about me. Also, this wouldn’t have been possible without my family, team, friends, and wonderful fans.”
