Samuel Parejo, the captain of Spanish football club, Villarreal, has backed Nigerian winger, Samuel Chukwueze who just left the club for AC Milan to shine in the Italian Serie A.
Parejo encouraged the 24-year-old Nigerian star to succeed at AC Millan who have been very busy in the transfer market recruiting youngsters in the age bracket of Chukwueze.
At a point when it was looking like the Chukwuezeโs move to the Italian Serie A giants wouldnโt work out this summer, Milan and Villarreal agreed on a โฌ28 million contract with add-ons for the services of the Nigerian winger after a series of back and forth.
The Nigeria international signed a five-year deal with the Italian side as he became the 6th player Stefano Pioli has welcomed to the club so far this summer.
Samuel Chukwueze is expected to team up with Rafael Leao to form a deadly two-flanked attack for Milan in the coming season after scoring 13 goals and dishing out 11 assists for the Yellow Submarine last season.
Chuwkwueze and Parejo got along well while they were at the Estadio de la Ceramica. Hence, the Nigerian presented an autographed AC Milan jersey to the Spaniard as a token of his gratitude and friendship after completing his exit to Italy.

Chukwueze didnโt participate in AC Milanโs final preseason game on Wednesday against Barcelona in California, but he is likely to feature for the club on August 21 against Bologna when the Serie A season kicks off.
