Nigerian striker and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen has deleted all pictures related to his dealings and links with the Italian club from his Instagram account.
This was revealed in a check on the playerโs account by our correspondent on Wednesday morning.
The latest action from the star striker has further aggravated feelings that all may not be well between him and the club and the player may be facing the exit door in the January transfer window.
Last season, Osimhen powered Napoli to their first Scudetto title in over three decades scoring a staggering 26 goals and finishing as the leagueโs top scorer.
However, the player has struggled for goals this season and in his clubโs game against Bologna on Sunday, he missed a penalty with the game eventually ending in a 0-0 draw.
Following the penalty miss, the Italian club posted a controversial video โmockingโ him on their official TikTok account which sparked outrage from the playerโs supporters.
The video was eventually pulled down by the club after heavy criticisms, particularly on social media.
With the current row between him and the club, the player who was heavily linked with a move away from the club all through the just-concluded summer transfer window may just be making the move in January with many European clubs waiting in the wings for his services.
