No fewer than two persons have died while six others sustained various degrees of injuries in an auto crash on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Tuesday, Boxing Day.
The unfortunate incident was disclosed by Mrs Florence Okpe, Spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Ogun State.
She said the lone accident involved a Toyota bus carrying eight passengers.
Okpe blamed the accident on overspeeding, saying the driver lost control of the vehicle before the accident happened.
โThe vehicle crashed on the road barrier due to speeding and loss of control.
โThe injured victims were taken to a hospital at Mowe in Ogun while the deceasedsโ have been deposited in its morgueโ she said.
