Turkish football manager, Fuat Capa says Paul Onuachu will score more than 20 goals in the Super Lig this season.
Onuachu is spending the 2023/24 season on loan at Trabzonspor from Sky Bet Championship club, Southampton.
The lanky hitman scored on his debut for Trabzonspor against Besiktas.
The 29-year-old was also on target and recorded an assist on his second appearance for the former Turkish Super Lig champions against Hatayaspor on Monday.
Capa believes Onuachu will have a successful stint at Trabzonspor.
“He started there perfectly, I’ve seen both of his games. On his home debut against Besiktas, he immediately scored his first goal with a header. He scored again against Hatayspor and also provided an assist,” he said, as quoted by Voetbalkrant.
“We all know he’s a good striker, who can get strong statistics recorded. I dare not predict that he will score fifty goals. But I see him score twenty times. Onuachu fits well in the Turkish league.”
The Burgundy Blues will take on Pendikspor in their next league match.
Trabzonspor currently occupy seventh position on the table, nine points adrift leaders, Fenerbahce.
