Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed a notorious bandit nicknamed Mai-Nasara at Sangeko Forest in Kebbi State.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Kebbi State Governor, Ahmed Aliyu, said in a statement that the team also killed two other suspected bandits believed to be members of the same gang.
He applauded the efforts of the security personnel in fighting crimes and criminalities, especially in the southern part of the state, just as he appealed to residents to give the personnel the necessary cooperation and support to succeed.
He added: โYour support and cooperation are highly necessary for the security agencies to achieve the desired goal of flushing out criminals and restoring peace and normalcy in our land.
โTherefore, there is a need for people to assist security agencies with credible intelligence.โ
