A good number of Nigerian footballers abroad were at their best last weekend (September 28 and 29), as they helped their respective clubs to produce positive results.

One of the best Nigerian footballers abroad last weekend was Victor Osimhen who scored twice for Galatasaray in the Turkish League. Unfortunately for the 25-year-old Nigerian forward, he ended the game at the start of the second half with an injury.

Top Nigerian footballers abroad, like Victor Boniface, Ademola Lookman, and Moses Simon, couldnโ€™t do much for their respective clubs last weekend. Despite their prolific form so far this season, they didnโ€™t record an assist or a goal in the said weekend.

Below are the top-performing Nigerian footballers abroad last weekend:

France:
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie (Paris FC) made eight saves as her team beat Le Havre 8-0.

Spain:
Chidera Ejuke and Kelechi Iheanacho started for Sevilla in a 1-1 draw. Ejuke contributed to Sevillaโ€™s late-minute equalizer against Athletic Bilbao.

South Africa:
Stanley Nwabali (Chippa United) made three saves in his teamโ€™s 2-1 win over TS Galaxy.

Turkey:
Victor Osimhen (Galatasaray) scored twice in a 3-3 draw with KasฤฑmpaลŸa in the Turkish league.

Saudi Arabia:
William Troost-Ekong (Al Kholood) scored in a 4-2 defeat to Al Hilal.

England:
Josh Maja (West Brom) scored in a 3-2 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in an English Championship match.

Tom Dele-Bashiru (Watford) scored a late penalty in a 2-1 win over Sunderland.

France:
Akor Adams (Montpellier) provided an assist in a 2-1 defeat to AS Monaco.

Italy:
Maduka Okoye (Udinese) made four saves in a 3-2 loss to Inter Milan.

Armenia:
Ibrahim Yusuf (West Armenia) scored twice in a 2-0 win over Alashkert.

Latvia:
Abdulrahman Taiwo (FK Auda) scored twice in a 3-2 win over Valmiera.
