Phrank Shaibu, the Special Assistant on Public Communication to the 2023 Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has praised former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose for referring to erstwhile Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike as “an average mad man.”
OsunDailyNG recalls that Fayose, during an interview on Channels TV had stated that Nigeria needs an average mad person to become a minister and Wike was capable enough to fill the position.
The former governor had urged President Bola Tinubu to include Wike in his cabinet.
He also asked the president to appreciate the G-5 integrity group for their support during the last presidential election.
Reacting to Fayose’s comment in a statement he signed, Shaibu opined that Wike has indeed shown that he is a mad man for stopping people from coming into his state to campaign.
The aide maintained that it takes madness to subdue the will of the people.
He warned Tinubu against appointing Wike as a minister.
According to Shaibu: “We want to appreciate Fayose for describing Wike as an ‘average mad man.’
“Indeed, it is only a mad person who can use violence to prevent people from coming into a state to campaign. It takes madness to subvert the will of the people.”
