Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has praised President Bola Tinubu for his statement on Israel-Gaza war.
Femi Kayode said Nigerians against President Tinubuโs statement during the Arab/Islamic Summit in Riyadh are ignorant and out of touch with reality.
In a statement on Thursday on his X handle, Kayode accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.
He argued that no Nigerian Christian would support Israelโs war on Gaza because it is against Christianity.
Kayode wrote: โThose that claim that President Tinubuโs representation at the Arab/Islamic summit in Riyadh on the genocide in Gaza is โoffensive and impeachableโ and that claim that โNigerian Christians support everything Israel is doing are mendacious, dangerously ignorant and out of touch with reality.
โThey fail to appreciate the fact that the slaughter that is going on in Gaza is not about religion but about humanity.
โChristianity does not support ethnic cleansing, mass murder, crimes against humanity, war crimes or genocide and it compels us to resist evil and injustice.
โChristianity does not support the killing of babies and the bombing of Churches in Bethlehem where Jesus was born and Nazareth where he came from.
โChristianity does not support the sexual abuse, rape and sodomisation of Palestinian detainees including women and children.
โChristianity does not support apartheid and the establishment of a racist, fascist ethno-supremacist state run by white European settlers at the expense of the Arab and semitic native population who actually own the land.
โChristianity does not support the harvesting, removal and sale of body parts belonging to martyred Palestinian soldiers and civilians,
Including women and children.
โBlaming anyone or any nation for going to an international forum, whether Christian or Muslim, whose objective is to bring an end to the occupation and carnage in Palestine andย bring peace to the Middle East is disingenuous, callous and blind.โ
