Nollywood actor, Browny Igboegwu, has called out his colleagues over hypocrisy in the movie industry.
OsunDailyNG reports that the thespian, in a post via his Instagram page, expressed displeasure over the display of ‘fake love’ by his colleagues in Nollywood.
While chastising his colleagues over the incessant act, Browny warned that people who cannot say something good about others should shut their mouths.
He wrote, “Make we take it easy with fake love in this our Nollywood. One minute you are saying despicable things about your colleague and the next minute you are posting and celebrating the same person.
“This is broad daylight witchcraft. Please be genuine with your intentions towards people. Say no to fake love; it is worse than poison. If you can’t say something good about someone, please shut up.”
In other news, Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has said that she married her husband, Kazim Adeoti, professionally called Adekaz because they belong in the same industry.
The thespian disclosed this during a recent appearance on ‘Nollywood on Radio.’
OsunDailyNG reports that Mercy Aigbe announced her marriage to Adekaz in January 2022, as a second wife.
Speaking on her decision to be Adekaz’s second wife, the actress stated, “One of the reasons I got married to him is that we are both in the same industry.
“Together, we are building a production empire. I just felt I needed someone to collaborate with in the industry, and it is a good thing that he understands it too. Combining our strengths, the future looks promising.”
