Human rights activist, Aisha Yesufu, has slammed the All Progressives Congress (APC) alleging they rigged the 2023 election.
OsunDaily News reports that this comes in the wake of the controversial issues that have rocked the Labour Party (LP) in the last few days.
From the purported leaked conversation between Peter Obi and the general overseer of Living Faith Church, Bishop Oyedepo to the court order suspending the LP chairman and party executives.
In a post via Twitter, Aisha Yesufu claimed the APC have robbed themselves of sleep after rigging the just concluded election.
She wrote: โThey rigged election and it is now like a bone in their throat. They canโt swallow it nor bring it out! They are running helter-skelter all over the world. They robbed themselves of sleep!โ
Pressure Mounts On Peter Obi To Leave Nigeria Or Face Arrest
Meanwhile, the Labour Party (LP)ย on Wednesday alleged that itsย presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has received warnings to leave the country or face arrest by security agencies.
In a press statement, chief spokesperson of the Obi-Datti Campaign Council, Tanko Yunusa, said the alleged warnings are linked to Peter Obiโs ongoing legal challenge to the outcome of the February 25 presidential election which produced Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) as president-elect.
LP stated that the former Anambra State Governor is under โimmense pressureโ to leave Nigeria as part of plots aimed at forcing him to abandon his legal suit currently before the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.
