The nine-time African champions sealed their place at the biennial competition 7-1 on aggregate.
Cape Verde dominated the opening exchanges at the Estadio Nacional, Praia and took the lead through Ivania Moreira in the eighth minute.
The hosts piled more pressure on the Super Falcons but couldnโt add to their advantage.

Esther Onyenezide and Esther Okoronwko took the place of Peace Efih and Uchenna Kanu.
The substitution yielded a positive effect as the Super Falcons took control of the game.
Okoronwko equalised for Nigeria two minutes after the hour mark.
