Ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Super Eagles strikers are showing good form for their clubs, which will be sweet music to the hears of head coach, Jose Peseiro.

In the Bundesliga, Victor Boniface continued his impressive scoring form for Bayer Leverkusen netting in the clubโ€™s 4-0 drubbing of Bochum.

Boniface started the game from the bench and was introduced in the 67th minute.

The 22-year-old scored Leverkusenโ€™s fourth goal two minutes later.

The striker has now scored 10 goals in 16 league appearances for Die Werkself this season.

In France, Terem Moffi was the hero as OGC Nice defeated RC Lens 2-0.

Moffi, who missed Les Aiglons 3-1 defeat to Le Havre last weekend due to a minor injury came off the bench to score a brace for Nice.

The 22-year-old took the place of Gaetan Laborde in the 73rd minute.

The forward fired Les Aiglons into the lead from the spot two minutes later.

Moffi then scored the second in the 77th minute.

He has now registered six goals in 16 league appearances for Nice this season.

Cyriel Dessers, another striker in Super Eaglesโ€™ provisional squad for the AFCON was also on target for Scottish club, Rangers in their 2-0 victory over St Johnstone.

Dessers got his name on the scoresheet in the 28th minute when he put the ball home from James Tavernierโ€™s cross to register his ninth goal in all competitions.

He has scored four goals in his last five league games for the Gers.
