Sporting Lagos forward Jonathan Alukwu has said his goal against Remo Stars was a result of quick thinking.
Alukwu netted in the first half of the encounter to put Sporting Lagos ahead at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
Remo Stars, however, rallied with Franck Mawuena and Sikiru Alimi hitting the target.
“The ball was in the air and I saw the opponents defender approaching so I had to hit it quickly,” he said during the post match interview.
“It’s a matter of quick thinking.”
