A chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima has condemned President Muhammadu Buhari for conferring some Nigerians and foreigners with national honours.
OsunDaily News had earlier reported that President Buhari on Tuesday conferred 447 people with national honours at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.
The former ally to President Buhari in his reaction to the event said most of those honoured should be in prison.
Galadima on Friday while speaking on Arise TV said, “440 people Buhari gave national award should be in prison, these awards should be given to people who have retired without any blemish.”
Kwankwaso’s Most Popular Presidential Candidate – Galadima
Galadima on Friday described the presidential candidate of NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso as the most popular presidential candidate in 2023.
According to Galadima, the former Governor of Kano State has the popularity to take over power from President Buhari at the end of his tenure in 2023.
Galadima who noted that Kwankwaso does not have money because he has not stolen government resources added that he is a candidate to beat.
The NNPP in his statement said, “Our strategy is that we will show Nigerians that the most popular candidate if the election is free and fair is Kwankwaso.
“Kwankwaso does not have the money to run for the presidential campaign because he has not stolen public funds.
“Everybody around the world knows that Kwankwaso is the most popular candidate to beat, Kwankwaso has the magic wand to solve the problems of Nigerians.”
