Shooting Stars head coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, has assured the clubโ€™s supporters that the team will continue to improve.

Ogunbote said the players were out on a redemption mission in their matchday seven win against Niger Tonardoes.

โ€œIt was a game we made up our mind to give our all, with the aim of redeeming our image and also to make our fans happy after that loss in Ikenne,โ€ he told 3SC media.

โ€œIt was a game of sheer determination in which everybody was at his best to ensure that we achieved the result.

โ€œWe actually worked for it; even when we conceded that goal, we were still optimistic that we would make it.โ€

Shooting Stars currently occupy third position on the table.
