The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Rivers State has reacted to the dissolution of the state executive committees at all levels by the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party.
The APC NWC had on Wednesday dissolved its state executives in Rivers State and appointed a Caretaker Committee to pilot the affairs of the party in the state, with Chief Tony Okocha as the Chairman.
Reacting to the change of leadership in the state, the immediate past Publicity Secretary, Darlington Nwauju said the APC in the state is yet study the statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka.
Nwauju stated that elected executives are not dissolved on the pages of newspapers or on television without due process being followed.
He said, “We will give an adequate and appropriate response to it.”
