Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, side Remo Stars, has unveiled its women’s team, Remo Stars Ladies.
Remo Stars Ladies will participate in the 2023-24 Nigeria Women’s Football League.
The team will play their home matches at the Ikenne Stadium.
The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has mandated all club’s to have a women’s team.
Besides the newly launched Remo Stars Ladies, the Ikenne- based club also have in their ranks, Beyond Limits FC, which will participate in the Nigeria National League, NNL, this season.
The club is funded by popular businessman, Kunle Soname.
