Mixed reactions have trailed a call from Nollywood actor, Uche Maduagwu asking the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to add award-winning musicians, Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid to the new naira notes.
Uche made the proposal on Friday, November 18 while acknowledging and praising the music stars’ efforts in the entertainment industry.
The Nollywood actor opined that using the music stars’ pictures on the proposed Naira notes will serve as an inspiration to the younger generation and give the note value.
Uche wrote; “Put Davido, WIZKID and Burna Boy Images on redesigned Naira if you Want it to have VALUE globally.. Dear CBN, these 3 Legends have added More value to Naija image abroad in the 21st Century.”
