Wikki Tourists assistant coach, Bashir Salah has attributed his team’s draw against El-Kanemi Warriors to poor weather conditions.
The Bauchi Elephants were held to a 1-1 draw by the visitors at the Tafawa Balewa Stadium on Sunday.
Salah said the result is not good for their promotion aspirations
He assured that the technical crew would make necessary adjustments based on the shortfalls noticed in the game.
“Part of the problem that affected the performance of the boys is the harsh weather conditions in Bauchi which did not favour us,” he told the club’s media.
“Games/training were always played by late evening despite that the boys showed endurance.
“We thank the supporters for their understanding and solicit for more as we continue to make adjustments.”
Wikki Tourists will take on Yobe Desert Stars in their next game in Gashua.
