Plateau United forward Albert Hilary has said the team is yet to show their full potential despite thrashing Bayelsa United in Jos.
Hilary scored a hat-trick in the Peace Boys’ 5-1 humiliation of Bayelsa United at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday.
Nenrot Silas and Izuchukwu Chimezie scored a goal each in the game.
Hilary, who has netted five times in the NPFL this term, also expressed optimism about winning the league’s top scorer award at the end of the season.
“We have been having difficulties scoring goals at the beginning of the season but the coaches kept encouraging us to get it right,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“We’re still working tirelessly to improve ourselves; this is just the beginning. My personal goal is to win the top scorer award and also help Plateau United win the league.”
Plateau United moved up to the fourth position on the table with 22 points following the win.
