Plateau United technical adviser Mbwas Mangut believes that his team can improve on their performance following the defeat to Sunshine Stars

The Peace Boys suffered a 3-1 loss against Sunshine stars at the Akure Township Stadium on Saturday.

Mangut admitted that the players failed to convert the chances they created in the game.

โ€œThe league is really a marathon, you can see 60 per cent of what we are working on in the game,โ€ he said in a post-match interview.

โ€œThere is room for improvement; for me Sunshine Stars took their chances.

โ€œWe really played the way we planned but we didnโ€™t take our chances.โ€

Plateau United have recorded 41 points in 24 games in the NPFL.
