Nigeria forward, Peter Olayinka, is full of excitement after helping Red Star Belgrade win the Serbian League title.
Olayinka was on target in Red Star Belgrade’s 2-1 victory over TSC on Friday night.
Red Star beat city rivals, Partizan Belgrade to the title.
“There are a lot of emotions,I am happy, because we achieved our goal and won the title,” Olayinka told the club’s official website.
“I know how important this is to everyone at the club and of course to the fans.
“I’m also excited about the title celebration. I’m sure it will be great. I have no doubt that we are deservedly the best team.”
The striker also praised the club’s fans for their support during the campaign.
“I want to thank the fans for their support throughout the season and I invite them to continue doing so,” Olayinka added.
“I know it was not easy at one time, but we acted as a team and together we won the trophy.”
