The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the just concluded election, Peter Obi, has returned to social media, days after his alleged conversation with the Presiding Bishop of the Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, was leaked.
The trending audio had alleged that the LP flagbearer, on the eve of the presidential election, asked Bishop Oyedepo to mobilize support for him from the church.
The audio also claimed that the former Governor of Anambra stated that the 2023 presidential election was a “religious war” and asked Oyedepo to reach out to the Christians in the South West, Kwara, Kogi, and Niger states.
Reacting to the alleged audio in a statement by the Head of the Obi-Datti Media Office, Diran Onifade, the LP candidate accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of sponsoring propaganda to discredit him.
But in a tweet via his verifed Twitter handle on Tuesday, Obi failed to speak about the alleged audio, or any other controversy surrounding his party or his supporters.
He, however, congratulated a young Nigerian, Chinalurumogu Eze, for winning the 2023 Future Creative Leaders Academy (FCLA) Prize for the Roger Hatchuel Student Academy.
He also urged Eze to go all out for victory as she represent Nigeria at the Roger Hatchuel Student Academy (RHSA) in the Cannes Lion Festival in France.
The former governor prayed to God grant her success as a result of her goodness and hard work.
He wrote: “My very warm congratulations to Chinalurumogu Eze for winning the 2023 Future Creative Leaders Academy (FCLA) Prize for the Roger Hatchuel Student Academy.
“I [email protected]_kings to go all out for victory as she represent Nigeria at the Roger Hatchuel Student Academy (RHSA) in the Cannes Lion Festival in France. May God Almighty, who sees your goodness and hard work grant you success.“
