Hours after the All Progressives Congress (APC) held its presidential campaign in Jos, supporters of theย Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have stormed the Rwang Pam stadium, to clean up the venue.
OsunDaily News recalls that the presidential candidate of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu kicked off his presidential campaign in Jos, the Plateau capital, on Tuesday ahead of the 2023 elections.
After the campaign, the PDP supporters who visited the venue for a clean up told newsmen that they did so to show their commitment to voting out the APC in the 2023 election.
The Director General, Atiku Motivational Movement, Kamru Sani, said the action of the PDP supporters was meant to sweep out what the APC brought to the state.
Sani said that Plateau is a stronghold of the PDP, and is set to return to its winning ways.
โWe are here to sweep out all they brought here, as PDP is for Plateau and Nigeria.
โThe party is set to be on winning ways again, as it has shown that it is the true party for the state.
โThe party will bring relief to the sufferings that citizens of the state and Nigeria have had to endure in the last seven years,โ he said.
The national coordinator, PDP youth Amendment Movement, Mohammed Hassan also stated that the movement would protect the future of the youths in Nigeria.
Hassan opined that Nigerians are witnesses to the type of leadership experienced in the last seven years, and called on Nigerians to vote PDP in 2023.
