The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fixed Monday, November 21 for its presidential campaign rally in Gombe State.
OsunDaily News reports that the Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation and Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, made this in a statement on Sunday.
Tambuwal disclosed that the campaign rally would hold at the Gombe township stadium in Gombe by 11 am.
The Sokoto governor invited elected PDP Governors, members of the National Working Committee, National Assembly members, and National Executive Committee (NEC) members to the rally.
Tambuwal also invited members of the PDP Board of Trustees, State Chapters, former Governors, former Ministers, PDP Candidates, and Stakeholders to the Borno state presidential campaign rally
He, therefore, appealed to party members in the state to be present as they “join hands with Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa to recover Nigeria.
“This is to cordially invite all elected PDP Governors, members of the PDP national working committee, national assembly members, PDP NEC members, members of the PDP board of trustees, state chapters, former governors, former ministers, PDP candidates, and stakeholders to the Gombe State Presidential Campaign rally,
“We, therefore, appealed to party members in the state to be present as we “join hands with Atiku Abubakar and Ifeanyi Okowa to recover Nigeria,” the statement reads.
