Dignitaries present at the pre-wedding ceremony of Anna Titilayo, daughter of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, includes top All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members, OsunDaily News reports.
The APC and PDP chieftains were seen in a merry on Saturday at the American University of Nigeria (AUN) event, Yola, Adamawa State capital.
OsunDaily News understands that AUN is owned by the former Vice President and the 2023 presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.
The main wedding event, according to reports, is billed for December 17, 2022. In attendance are at least three governors, Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Ahmadu Fintiri (Adamawa), and Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe).
In his address, President Muhammadu Buhari, represented by the FCT Minister, Muhammed Musa Bello, prayed that Titilayo and her husband would raise a family with highly dedicated children.
Other dignitaries at the event were Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari; Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani; Deputy Governor of Adamawa state, Crowther Seth; members of the National Assembly, amongst others.
The Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and his wife, Hafsat Umar, were yesterday conferred with the chieftaincy title of “Olorogun of Olomu Kingdom” in Delta State.
OsunDaily News understands that His Royal Majesty, Ovie Dr R. L. Ogbon, the Ohworode of the ancient Olomu Kingdom, granted the Kano native and his wife the chieftaincy titles.
Olomu Kingdom chiefs, senior Kano state government officials, members of Ganduje’s family, politicians, and other members of the Olomu Kingdom all attended the event, which was held in the palace of the Ohworode.
