Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has nominated 34 persons as Chairmen and Deputy Chairmen for the 17 local governments in the state.
The nominees include David Ogba and John Udeagbala for Ohafia and Aba North LGAs, respectively.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Uzo Nwachukwu, the Governor had transmitted the names of the nominees to the Abia State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
