Past and present Super Eagles players have joined others to call out the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over the unpaid entitlements of the Super Falcons.

There are reports that the NFF has been owing the Super Falcons match bonuses since 2021. The debts almost pushed the players to boycott their opening 2023 Womenโ€™s World Cup match against Canada which ended in a barren draw.

Even the coach of the side and American tactician, Randy Waldrum, has openly called out the NFF over his unpaid salary and bonuses.

Despite the debts, the players went on to record two draws and a victory to qualify for the round of 16 of the 2023 Womenโ€™s World Cup. Their journey in the competition ended via penalties against reigning European champions, England, on August 7.

After Super Falconsโ€™ exit from the tournament, the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPro), issued a statement to urge the NFF to pay the players the unpaid entitlements.

NFF replied that it would pay the entitlements after the world football governing body, FIFA, disburse funds related to the 2023 Womenโ€™s World Cup.

However, one of the stars of the Super Falcons, Asisat Oshola, seems unimpressed with the excuse as she took to her Instagram account to share a screenshot of FIFProโ€™s statement.

Napoli striker and the Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen, took to the comments section to write, โ€œPay them NFFโ€.

Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, who seems to have suffered the same fate of being owed by the NFF, commented, โ€œNFF never stop these things.โ€

Also, former Super Eagles and Everton striker, Victor Anichebe, wrote: โ€œNFF pay them! They did us all proud! And even if they didnโ€™t. Pay them what they are owed!!!โ€
