Shooting Stars technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote believes his side deserved at least a point from the matchday 20 tie against Enyimba.

The Oluyole Warriors lost 1-0 at the Enyimba International Stadium on Saturday in Aba.

Chijoke Mbaoma netted the only goal in the game.

Ogunbote blamed the loss on carelessness on the part of the team.

โ€œThe game has been won and lost, we will take the positives. Be it as it may, sometimes, you give it your all but you donโ€™t get the desired result, at worse, we deserve a point from this game,โ€ he said in a post-match interview.

โ€œWe were careless with the goal we conceded today, itโ€™s a situation we could have avoided.

โ€œSometimes, it happens like that in the game. We will go back home, pick up the pieces and letโ€™s see what happens.โ€
