Bendel Insurance head coach, Monday Odigie has commended goalkeeper Amas Obasogie for his display in the defeat against Enyimba.
Bendel Insurance lost the game 2-1 at the Enyimba Stadium on Wednesday.
Obasogie returned to Bendel Insurance’s starting line-up after his national team assignment.
Odigie stated that the team will strive to improve in subsequent games.
He, however, urged the club fans not to put pressure on the team.
“Before Amas left he was doing the same thing he was doing,” he stated in a post-match chat.
“I’m interested in how my players are improving day after day. I want results, but if it doesn’t come Nigerians should learn how to show sportsmanship.
“The fans should enjoy the game if they come and watch.”
