Abia Warriors head coach, Erasmus Onu has attributed his team’s defeat against Kwara United to fatigue.
The Ochendo Boys lost 1-0 to Kwara United at the Kwara Sports Complex, Ilorin, on Sunday.
The experienced tactician stated that the experience of travelling by road for two days for an away game had a bad effect on the players’ performance.
Onu stressed it is time for Abia Warriors to make an arrangement with airline operators for away games.
“Bad roads will kill our league,” Onu told the club’s media.
“The journey for two days from Abia to Ilorin with bad roads really affected the players’ performance.
“I think it’s time we have an arrangement with airlines for away games.”
