Ismael Seriki scored twice as Bendel Insurance ended their five-game winless streak courtesy of a 2-0 victory against Gombe United at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

Seriki scored the curtain raiser in the seventh minute of the encounter.

The winger doubled the advantage a minute after the half hour mark.

The 21-year-old has now scored six goals for the Benin Arsenals this season.

Bendel Insurance moved to seventh position on the NPFL table following the win.

Gombe United remain in 19th position on the log.

Four matchday 24 fixtures will be played on Saturday, with the remaining games scheduled for Sunday.
