Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe, has attributed his teamโ€™s away draw against Abia Warriors to hard work from his players.

Agagbe said his players fought hard to secure a point against the hosts.

Lobi Stars held Abia Warriors to a 1-1 draw at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Sunday(today).

Fabian Omaka opened the scoring for the host in the 70th minutes, before John Victor equalised from a free-kick in the last minute of the game.

โ€œIโ€™m very happy ,I give thanks to the players for the hard work,โ€ he said in a post-match interview.

โ€œI want to thank them for the fighting spirit and perseverance throughout the game.

โ€œItโ€™s shows that they are really hungry to achieve their target.โ€

Lobi Stars remain at the top of the table with 43 points from 24 games.
