A video of the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele arriving in court this morning has caused a stir on social media.
OsunDailyNG earlier reports that the Department of State Services (DSS) arraigned Emefiele at the federal high court in Ikoyi, Lagos, around 9:18 am on Tuesday.
Emefiele was l arraigned before the presiding judge, Justice Nicholas Oweibo, over the alleged possession of firearms could be seen being pulled across a sea of journalists trying to take a quick shot of the former CBN governor.
However, what caught the attention of the public was the manner in which the former CBN governor was pulled into the federal court during his arrival.
They queried and condemned the motive behind such action meted on the former CBN governor.
Reacting, etievictor said, ‘why is the woman dragging him like that, the man sef don tire.’
Another user, cake_behaviour said, ‘Why is he being dragged that way though. At least he should be treated with respect until convicted.’
