The Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has said the Nigerian judiciary can never be intimidated by anyone.
In a post via his verified Twitter account on Tuesday, Keyamo urged the relatively young and inexperienced โrevolutionaryโ Nigerians not to mess with the countryโs judiciary.
The minister asked the youths to check the history of all dictators, both military and civilian, who tried to threaten and ridicule the judiciary and how they ended up.
Keyamo, therefore, stated that Nigeriaโs judiciary is one of the best in Africa and the very last to be intimidated by anyone who is aggrieved that their presidential candidate lost in the 2023 election.
He wrote: โIt is important to tell all those relatively young and inexperienced โrevolutionaryโ wannabes who think they can intimidate our judiciary, goaded on by the now infamous interview of Baba Datti Ahmed, that they should simply check the history of all dictators, both military and civilian, who tried to mess with our judiciary and how they ended up.
โI see different posts where these characters are virtually โwarningโ the judiciary. Our judiciary is one of the best in Africa and the VERY LAST to be intimidated by any โfascistโ movement of โnattering nitwitsโ.
โIf they think theyโre doing their candidate any favour, then they should keep the threats and ridicule of the judiciary coming. They will learn their lessons in a VERY HARD WAY. Screenshot and save this tweet!โ
