Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi shared a video of him and his Leicester City teammate Stephy Mavididi bantering each other after Nigeria’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final win against South Africa on Wednesday.
Recall that Nigeria defeated the Bafana Bafana 4-2 via penalty shootout after the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
However, Ndidi, who was ruled out of the AFCON due to injury, was happy with the victory as he shared videos of himself with Mavididi in Leicester City’s training facility, bantering each other.
In the video, which he posted on his Instagram story, Ndidi told Mavididi,” We’re in the finals men, you can dance.”
Mavididi, who is originally from DR Congo but plays for England, responded, “You’re worst nation. Nigeria nothing, embarrassing.”
Ndidi then said, “You Congolese can go dance Amapiano,” he laughed.
