The Nigeria Referees Development Committee has dropped Abubakar Musa from officiating following his misconduct in the Nigeria National League matchday three fixture involving Kebbi United and Sokoto United.
The chairman of the committee, Mohammed Ameenu, disclosed this in a letter sighted by DAILY POST.
The letter stated that the official’s removal is until further notice.
The fixture witnessed Sokoto United violating the rules of the league.
Sokoto United were handed a fine of N1,050,000 for their violent conduct.
The club’s chief coach, Mohammed Dan Asabe, and his goalkeeper trainer, Sheu Rilwan, were handed a two-month ban by NNL.
