The Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) has voiced its dissatisfaction with the management of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH), led by Dr. Hassan Ikrama, for exceeding its approved budget.
This concern was raised during an oversight function of the state-owned hospital by the Chairman of the House Committee on Health, Larry Ven-Bawa, on Wednesday.
During the oversight visit, Ven-Bawa stated that it is important to strictly adhere to the budgetary process in all financial dealings, calling on the DASH management to ensure that future expenditures align with approved budgets.
The Chairman also commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for his commitment to prioritizing the health sector within the state.
