Nigerian Grammy award-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has reacted to claims of getting a Nigerian lady, identified as Stella, pregnant and abandoning her.
OsunDailyNG reports that Stella, in a viral video, claimed she was in a three-year relationship with the ‘City Boy’ crooner before she became pregnant for him.
Stella also alleged that Burna Boy’s mother, Bose Ogulu, scattered their relationship.
In response, Burna Boy, via a blog post’s comment section, admitted to knowing Stella, while stressing that she was among the first people to doubt his ability to get a lady pregnant.
The singer also admitted to paying Stella N20k for the service she rendered to him back then.
He wrote, “Meanwhile This na one of the first people wey call me impotent o. And na N20k be her money that year normally of which I give am o. Abeg enter this comment section if you this girl that year and confirm if I dey lie say na N20k be her money.”
In other news, Nigerian music executive cum talent manager, Paul Okoye, has revealed that Burna Boy is the richest Nigerian musician.
OsunDailyNG reports that Paul O made this known during an interview with media personality, Daddy Freeze, in an Instagram live session.
Paul O said the ‘City Boys’ crooner earned between $80 and $100 million in 2023 alone.
According to him, Burna Boy doesn’t have a large unit of people working for him, stressing that his mother, Bose Ogulu, sister, Ronami, mother’s brother and a few other consultants.
He added that the singer makes ridiculous money but doesn’t brag about his earnings or net worth.
Speaking about Rema, Paul O said that the Mavins singer overprices himself and is one of the most sought-after young artistes with a good reputation abroad.
