Nigerian singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, aka Mr Real, has called out colleagues Dโbanj and Mr Eazi over alleged debt.
Speaking in the latest episode of the Terms And Conditions podcast, Mr Real claimed Dโbanj and Mr Eazi are yet to settle him for working with them on their respective songs โIssa Bangerโ and โOverload.โ
He said the duo no longer picked up his calls nor replied to his messages.
โI have a song with Dโbanj. I was the one that brought my producer, Cracker and Slimcase, on board, and we made that song [โIssa Bangerโ]. The song blew. And we shot the video with love and all. Iโm not saying Iโm being ungrateful for what youโve done. But give me what is rightly mine. Itโs my right.
โThe song is being used in movies, even American movies, and I havenโt received any royalty,โ he lamented.
Mr Real added: โWhen we recorded โOverload,โ there was no contract. There is no slipt sheet. He [Mr Eazi] didnโt give me anything. Till today, there is nothing.
โAnd the truth is that these people [my colleagues] know what they are doing. The same Mr Eazi called me for another feature with Legendury Beatz. The two features he called me for, I didnโt waste time before sending my vocals to him. There is this saying that when you do a favour, you donโt expect them to do something in return. Omo, me I dey expect o. When I do you a favour, I expect you to render same to me.
โWe also need their kind of money. We want to live the Island life too. You guys should help us. Iโm not calling you out for anything but you should know youโre supposed to do this. I know if I message you, you want answer me. If I call Dโbanj, he no dey pick my call. Mr Eazi no dey pick my call.โ
